Aid to the Environment (Policy Marker)
Relates to an investment that:
a) is intended to produce an improvement, or something that is diagnosed as an improvement, in the physical and/or biological environment of the recipient country, area or target group concerned or
b) or includes specific action to integrate environmental concerns with a range of development objectives through institution building and/or capacity development.

Aid Type (also known as Co-operation modalities)
Classifies transfers from the donor to the first recipient of funds. Examples include: budget support, core contributions and pooled programmes and funds, project-type interventions and scholarships and student costs in donor countries. Refer to Annex 11 of OECD’s Directives and the CRS Reporting Checklist for further details.
