1. This DFAT Transparency Portal (Portal) is operated by the Commonwealth of Australia, represented by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
2. The Portal provides detailed information on Official Development Assistance (ODA) provided by Australia. The aims of the Portal are to:
(a) improve transparency of ODA data;
(b) provide ODA financial and performance data for users, including the Australian public, researchers and aid recipients; and
(c) make ODA information available in a format that is easy to access and understand.
3. The following terms apply to use of the Portal:
(a) these terms (Portal Terms); and
(b) the following terms on DFAT’s website (DFAT Terms):
(i) Accessibility;
(ii) Freedom of Information; and
(iii) Vulnerability Disclosure Policy.
4. In the event of an inconsistency between these Portal Terms and the DFAT Terms, the Portal Terms prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

(a) While DFAT takes reasonable care in operating this Portal, including when compiling and displaying data, information displayed on the Portal comes from a range of sources including the International Aid Transparency Initiative, the OECD and from organisations contracted by DFAT to help deliver Australia’s aid program.

(b) ODA information on the portal does not contain personal information.
(c) You may use the Portal without identifying yourself, unless you choose to identify yourself as part of providing feedback on the Portal.

(a) The Portal contains a wide range of documents related to ODA provided by Australia, and is designed to improve transparency of ODA data and make ODA information available in a format that is easy to access and understand.
(b) Members of the public seeking access to other documents that may be held by DFAT should lodge a formal Freedom of Information (FOI) application. Further information on lodging an FOI application can be found on the DFAT website.
