Our purpose

The AusDevPortal aims to provide clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date information about Australia’s Official Development Assistance (ODA). By making data more accessible, we seek to: 

  • Empower stakeholders, including Australian citizens, partner governments, NGOs, and researchers, with the information they need to understand how ODA investments are managed and their impact. 
  • Build trust in Australia’s development efforts by demonstrating accountability and results. 
  • Drive informed decision-making through open access to data and performance insights.  

What you'll find here

The portal provides detailed information on Australia’s development investments, including: 

  • Investment-Level Data:  Information about projects, including funding, sectors, locations, timelines, and links to relevant documents. 
  • Financial Transparency: Annual expenditure and budget estimates for all development activities. 
  • Performance Metrics: Data on project outcomes, monitoring ratings, and alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 
  • Interactive tools: Intuitive searchable functionality to support analysis and exploration.  

Data presented on the AusDevPortal is sourced from Australia’s International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) activity file and other verified government systems. It is updated annually to reflect the most current and accurate information available.

High-quality finance to meet our partners' energy needs

Australia is partnering with Palau to reduce its dependence on imported fossil fuels in support of low-emissions, climate resilient development.  
Through the Australian Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP), Australia provided financing to Solar Pacific Pristine Power to help construct Palau's first major solar and battery energy storage facility.
